JOEPA _ I shoot it like I see it

Last weekend I found myself working camera again (it’s been awhile) for the Big Ten Network.  During pregame warm-ups I was lucky enough to capture this comedic bit:  My good friend Chris getting chewed out by legendary coach Joe Paterno.  Now, when I was shooting this I had no idea anybody in the truck was even watching.  Like I said, it was during  pregame warm-ups, probably during the 10  to 15 minute break the crew gets before hunkering down for the game itself.  When it happened, nobody laughed, nobody commented, there was nothing.  So you can imagine the surprise I had (and the complete horror suffered by Chris) when this clip appeared on ESPN that night.  Obviously somebody in the truck (in “tape land”) had seen the outburst, clipped it off, and fed it down the melt over the satellite after the game.  ESPN saw it, clipped it off for themselves, and now we all have the luxury of laughing at Joepa and Chris anytime we want.

As for any embarrassment suffered by Chris: I just shoot it like I see it.  Haha.
