What do you get… (you get Santa Claus: The Movie)

What do you get when you mix a boy and a girl,  a large fat man, Dudley Moore, a handful of reindeer, a disturbing origin story, the fat man’s wife, an army of elves, numerous and blatant product placements, Alexander and Ilya Salkind (producers of the beloved Superman: The Movie), an obsession with flying, an ’80s music montage, Rocky‘s trainer, the director of Supergirl, and John F-ing Lithgow?!  You get the greatest Santa Claus movie ever made.  Period.
