hey stranger! Planet of the Apes was a book?! I seriously had no idea! Is it worth checking out?

I’ve been reading more than anything lately. A few weeks ago I finished Lord of the Flies… good. Last week I read In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex… which was also good. I was going to read Life of Pi next, per your recommendation. I have the book sitting on my shelf at home waiting… but I decided to hold off and read something else since both have cannibalistic themes! haha. So instead I’m reading On the Beach, another classic regarding the aftermath of nuclear holocaust. Maybe I should post some reviews of these books… hmm…

Listening to? Again, I should be sharing links, not just telling you what I’m enjoying these days, but… I’ve been turned on to a band called Look Mexico. Their enjoyable. I recently bought the debut album of The Temper Trap. I really like them. Other than that, mostly the same stuff.

Watching? Hmm… rewatched Police Academy. Haha. An American classic. I also rewatched Kick-Ass for the second time… I’m really not that crazy about that film. A few weeks ago I watched The Last Picture Show and The Wild One as research for a story I’m fleshing out. And last night I watched Network… a film made in the ’70s about U.S. television networks. It was okay. Nothing great.

Again, this is stuff i should be sharing on my blog!!
