    you flatter me, but that is easily the US’s most recognizable piece of track, if not the world’s. any other track in America, Europe, or otherwise except Mid-Ohio, and i’d be hard-pressed to identify it …although Qatar and Phillip Island are pretty easy. television and photos do not adequately translate the amount of drop there at Laguna. we’ll get out there together sometime.

    and i also know that in the motorcycle photo, it is merged frames of Valentino Rossi of MotoGP riding the Yamaha M1, circa 2007-2010. my guess would be a later year because it kind of looks like it says Petronas on the lower fairing rather than the earlier Yamaha badging. BOOM!
